energy drinks. Bottom line is that there is no quick
fix to boost performance.

Player Athletic
Physicals and other Forms (required)
All athletes must have
a current physical and insurance on file in the Athletic
office in order to participate in sports (including
conditioning and tryouts). See complete list under
Form Finder to the right.
Academic Requirements:
To be eligible to play, players must pass 5 out of
6 classes.
Need
Ankle Support? Mindy
Simmons, Head Athletic Trainer at DHS, has a number
of ankle braces available for purchase. The cost is
$20 each, and these braces are similar to the popular
ASO ankle braces, which have straps and lace up. Players
may purchase ankle braces from Mindy in the training
room any day of the week.
Checks should be made payable to "Duluth High School."

Shin
Guard Requirement: An important rule change
went into effective in 2009: The new National Federation
of State High School Associations (NOCSAE) shin guards
will be stamped or labeled with the NOCSAE logo. They
will specify which size is correct for a particular
sized player, making it easy for players, coaches
and officials to differentiate which shin guards are
to be worn.

Within each Calendar, entries will pertain to all
players unless specifically marked with V or JV. (Varsity
or Junior Varsity)
